What is a thermal view?

Starting with the Ipswich area, Thermal Home Survey has used sophisticated thermal imaging cameras to take infrared images of thousands of homes, thereby making the normally invisible, visible.

Each colourful image shows where a property is losing valuable heat. The areas of a property that are most vulnerable to heat loss show up in vivid yellows and reds. This enables the homeowner to pinpoint exactly where they can best direct their efforts to make their homes more thermally-efficient.
